Project Overview

Urban SDK provided the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) with a modern, flexible, visualization and cloud based solution. This enabled parents, students, and stakeholders to view Statewide School Environmental Safety Incident Reporting (SESIR) data.

In working with the client, Urban SDK incidented probability and reported analytics to impact the safety planning and decision making of FLDOE, school districts, and individual schools. Urban SDK developed an developed an index of historical SESIR data to integrate with our existing visual analytics software. This allowed FLDOE to analyze trends, visualize heatmaps, and create dashboards to track incidents by location, volume, incident type(s), date or time period.
