Urban SDK and City of Irving, Texas partner to Revolutionize Traffic Calming and Post-Implementation Studies

The city of Irving, Texas has selected Urban SDK, the nation's leading traffic management software, to partner on traffic calming initiatives around the metropolitan area.

Irving officials will use traffic speed data and dynamic maps from Urban SDK to quickly address citizen concerns about speeding and road safety. The city will also leverage Urban SDK's traffic volume data to diagnose the success of implemented calming measures, tracking the impact they have had on adjacent streets and neighborhoods.

Headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, Urban SDK provides traffic calming software to local organizations across North America. It's platform gives officials a better way monitor the safety of their streets and make faster planning decisions about at-risk roadways.

Irving is the second city in the DFW Metroplex to partner with Urban SDK, joining neighboring Arlington, who is using the platform to address road congestion.
